Subsequently, he earned his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC where he graduated with distinction and completed the research-focused track. Thereafter, he completed his residency in the Harvard Urologic Surgery Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston., MA.
Dr. Twum-Ampofo has given numerous academic lectures on various urologic topics including urologic oncology and stone disease. He has also presented his research at numerous national conferences. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
