I have had a UTI for close to 3 years with approximately 6 doctors seem. Dr Libby is the only doctor who seemed to care and was proactive in my diagnosis. I had surgery for prostate cancer removal and doing my follow-up with the Stockbridge location. Dr. Ampofo has been great in processing my maintenance appointments and has scheduled me for radiation for lingering cancer cells. I feel that I am in great hands and appreciate how I have been educated on the details of my treatments and the necessary information for recovery. The only issue I had was that the information from appointments and tests was slow getting onto the patient portal but when I addressed the issue it was promptly resolved. Overall I have had an excellent experience at the Stockbridge location.

My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer over one year ago (at the time a Gleason 7) but a recent biopsy indicated it was becoming more aggressive and a radical prostatectomy was recommended. We sought an Atlanta-area based surgeon skilled in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and over the course of a few weeks met in person with 4 local urologists (and 1 in Florida virtually) all of whom advertised an expertise in robotic surgery. At the end of our search, we settled on Dr. Zurawin and Urology of Greater Atlanta (UGA) and we are so glad we did!

We had initially sought a surgeon who had been in practice longer than Dr. Zurawin, but one meeting with him convinced us he had the skill, passion, confidence and surgical experience we sought, and he did not disappoint. Dr. Zurawin is a very talented surgeon and everyone we dealt with at UGA, from Dr. Zurawin’s surgical team to billing and scheduling, was professional, responsive and caring. One thing that set the UGA practice apart is that everyone there that we dealt with in advance of the surgery got back to us within 24 hours (to say we did not have a similar experience with the other area practices would be a gross understatement).

My husband was scheduled for surgery at Piedmont Henry Hospital within 5 weeks of our initial meeting with Dr. Zurawin (many other practices we consulted said we’d have to wait over 10 weeks). The care my husband received at the hospital was 1st rate and so far, post-surgery, he has had virtually no pain and zero complications. We feel so fortunate to have found this practice and Dr. Zurawin!! We’d give him many more stars if we could-he’s terrific!

First visit with Dr. Gilchrist and I felt IMMEDIATELY at ease! She was wonderful. Her bedside manner was awesome and I didn’t feel rushed! She talked about treatment options for me and definitely made me feel confident that we would get to the bottom of my issues. I am glad that I found her and look forward to being under her care.

My husband was treated by Dr. Jeffrey Twum-Ampofo and his wonderful staff – Treenah, Ja’Michael and Caprese at the front desk at Spivey Station. Our reason for seeking treatment was very scary for us due to the serious diagnosis we received. Dr. Twum-Ampofo was kind, patient, professional and made every effort to make an unpleasant experience, bearable and many times pleasant. We are beyond middle aged and have been treated by many doctors during our lifetime and we both have said we have never had a more pleasant experience. The doctor and his staff were responsive to telephone calls, delightful to talk with, always pleasant even when I’m sure we were a “pain”. We need more people like him, I truly felt he cared about my husband and was concerned about how I was feeling. Thank you Dr. Ampofo.

Good medicine starts with knowledge and is infused with care. You will find both here. My doctor, Benjamin Lee, stays abreast of the latest research developments in his field and knows the tricky details that make practicing medicine challenging. He is also empathetic and down-to-earth. The UGA practice is friendly and efficiently moves patients through stations of the exam like specimen collection, blood pressure, doctor consultation, treatments, and exit paperwork, so that there is rarely ever a significant wait time.

I recommend UGA without any doubt. Excellent professionals and staff.

Dr. Libby has been in business since 1978( I saw his diploma). He was very nice and professional.

I couldn’t be more happy than with Dr. Lopez. My husband had major issues and Dr. Lopez has been great throughout his while process. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and he makes sure to explain to you in detail on what is going on and what needs to be done. Many visits my husband has had, I believe they spent more time talking about “life” than his medical issues!! All the staff have been a pleasant to work with, especially during a pandemic! Dr Gilchrist has helped me tremendously with my urinary issues, also recommending the product ellura which also helps to prevent uti’s as much as one can get them. I recommend her as a wonderful professional doctor.

I started seeing Dr. Gilchrist in May and the first day I saw her, she added me to her schedule and placed a stent so I could be out of pain. She found out what was wrong with me when I had been dealing with the pain for a year and a half. Every time I saw her for follow up, she was so pleasant and I genuinely felt that she cared about getting me to feel better. While she was out on vacation, I had some complications and I saw Dr Eaton and he was just as fabulous. He made sure I was out of pain before I left his office and reassured me that we would get things taken care of even with Dr. Gilchrist our of town. I felt very comfortable and have always been taken care of so well when I am there. They have given me my life back. I lived with pain for a year and a half and now thanks to them, I am pain free. Totally would recommend both of these providers.

Went to see UGA for a problem I was having. My doctor decided to do a sonogram on my kidneys and found a cancerous tumor on left kidney. I had my kidney removed and didn’t have to do chemo. It has been almost 5 years and I am still cancer free. If my doctor had not done the sonogram I might not be here now. I am so grateful for saving my life. I love them and all of their wonderful staff members.
