Jonathan L. Zurawin, MD, is a skilled urologist serving the communities of Griffin, Covington, and Stockbridge, Georgia, at Urology Of Greater Atlanta since 2020. Dr. Zurawin is proud to return to Atlanta, having obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory University.
Dr. Zurawin was born and raised in Houston. After graduating from Baylor College of Medicine, he moved and completed his general and urological surgery training at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the chief resident during his final year of training at Tulane.
Dr. Zurawin feels privileged to have worked closely with some of the leaders and pioneers in minimally invasive urologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and advanced kidney stone management rounding up his minimally invasive expertise.
Besides his minimally invasive forte, Dr. Zurawin also brings with him a significant educational background in men’s health and sexual medicine and has excelled in prosthetic urologic surgery. He has spent much time in urologic research, having authored many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and surgical videos. He’s a member of the American Urological Association. Dr. Zurawin is Vice-Chief of Surgery and Chair of Robotic Surgery at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
